Piero Delucca is writer and
photographer. He works across different media. He has been
co-organizer of exhibitions and expositives projects for
Galleria dell'Immagine, Musei Comunali Rimini, Italy. In
1992 he pubblished "Technicon Diagnostics" and in 1995 "Il
Tecnico del Dialogo". He is curator of "Quaderni di Lang", a
series of projects-books. He is now based in Rimini,
Italy. Continental
Breakfast will be part of his next
book (Silver Books Edizioni) (a book of photographs,
computer designs, projects and texts from Alias, a space in
discussion (Alias is in Internet at
"http://www.iper.net/pierodelucca/alias.htm" ). His recent
work, and especially this, is a work on "the contemporary
and problematic experience of the objects and the dialogics
relations". Continental
Breakfast is a photographic-series
based on images taken from Internet, these images are
especially nightly ligths of the Earth, seen by Defense
Meteorological Satellite Program and that reveals a great
luminous pollution. Besides there are some photos of pieces
of bread like some crumbs and something else. These images,
so elaborated (also in a conceptual way) and let in net
again, contribute this relational and dialogic idea, that is
the centre of his actual work. Continental
Breakfast is yet open series, a
work in progress.
